The Bose Virtually Invisible 791 In-Ceiling Speakers II is an overpriced, underperforming set of in-ceiling speakers from one of the biggest brands in home audio. With an RRP of $599 for a set of two speakers, they certainly push the limits of what I think is “worth it”.

The Polk Audio RC80i is the cheaper yet still very capable model in Polks Premium ceiling speaker line. It takes a lot from the more expensive MC80 speakers and with its big 8-inch driver hits hard in the lows.
